like I never got the shot. That's a good sign, isn't it?

(8,445 posts)I'm trying to not be too cavalier about my safety, but I have to admit that it feels good to know that I'm doing everything I possibly can to not spread this thing.

(31,658 posts)I had no reaction to my first two Pfizers back in March, but the booster (which I got last Tuesday) gave me a headache for 2 days. Nothing so bad that some Ibuprofen couldnt handle. I still went about my days as normal.
My doc says the medical community is very hopeful that this situation will be a lot better next spring. I sure hope so. My dumbass county is only 48% vaxxed.
Rorey
(8,445 posts)I don't know what's up with that, but it was good to see. My county is 60.5% vaccinated, which is disappointing.

(31,658 posts)That in Italy you literally have to be vaxxed or you cant work or enter a restaurant or use public transportation. They are grabbing the bull by the horns over there.
I wish more people would do their part here.

(8,445 posts)In the beginning, I said I was against a vaccine mandate, but it was because I actually thought reluctant people would see the light. They haven't, and the cost of their stubborn stupidity is staggering. I'm over it. It's long past time to play nice with them.

(31,658 posts)When the willfully unvaccinated are clogging up the hospitals to the point that others who need hospital care are turned away, that is unacceptable. They are the complete and total argument in favor of mandating vaccines.

(9,151 posts)Took an Ibuprofin. Reaction was similar to the first two. I expect it'll all be gone by tomorrow. I was hoping for no reaction this time but still-better than getting COVID!

(14,270 posts)I have a slight headache, slightly swollen lymph nodes but I don't feel horrible. I can still function. The second dose hammered me approximately 24 hours after injection. I'm not quite at the 24 hour mark yet though.

(2,113 posts)The first two shots I had a bit of a headache and a really sore arm. Nothing too bad and toooootally worth it, regardless.

(114 posts)After I got my Pfizer booster, I had a good sized plate of fish and chips and a beer. No reaction at all. With all the blather i hear about this and that reaction coming from the "anti-vaxxers" in the area, I have to wonder when stupidity became a virtue in our nation.

Congrats!
