Friends, there may be a more appropriate forum, but

I spend most of my time DU here . . . and I have a question

I'm not asking for medical advice, but for suggestions as to where to look . . . so I hope this is not inappropriate

I am interested in up to date info. on stem cell or other research which might offer some hope of regenerating "stroke" damage to my optic nerve. I understand there have been some successes with stem cells on certain eye disorders, but I am not sure that anybody has been working on this.

Anyway, I would appreciate suggestions

Thanks
