It's about a man who walks the Camino de Santiago in honor of his son, who died in an accident when he started the walk himself. I wanna walk the Camino. Has anybody done that?

(130,156 posts)A friend of mine went on the 'walk' a few months ago, but broke his ankle part way through. He's home recovering now.
I guess now it will be a while before he'll be able to go back and finish.

(17,621 posts)You really don't need a lot of elaborate gear like you would if you were hiking in the Pyrenees (in fact, the lighter the better), and there are lots of towns and even a few sizeable cities along the way. A lot of it is even paved. It's not exactly a wilderness experience.

(11,065 posts)That's what I found when someone mentioned They Way to me and I went looking for it on in the internet. Eventually I did find The Way, but I'm really glad I found The Way Back and watched it by accident.
