8. My friend's dad took his life.

It was a rough road for her growing up (she was 15), but she is now married and is planning on starting her own family soon. It's tough. For her, though, it got better.

9. Sad

Through the years I am sure we have all seen families devastated by suicide and it is truly a terrible thing. I know I have seen a few co-workers and family members of co-workers take their own lives. There also seems to be a branch of my spouses extended family in which this is prevalent.
