I made no-churn strawberry ice cream and pound cake for the holiday. We sprinkled blueberries on for the red/white/blue.

Yes, peonies here have been blooming for a couple of weeks. I think this is the last bush. OOOPS! This is a ROSE, David Austin's Alnwick. DO have peonies; here's the last bush!

I may go out to clip one or two of these. (Last time I did that, couple days ago, I met up with a tick, tho! I put the peonies in vase on the porch, so their friends the ants don't enter the house.)
