Man Miraculously Wakes Up From 48 Day Coma and Immediately Says, 'I Want Taco Bell'

https://www.yahoo.com/news/man-miraculously-wakes-48-day-210200482.html

That appeared to be the mindset of Florida man Jake Booth, who awoke from a 48-day coma and immediately asked his relieved family members for some Taco Bell....

The next shock to the family was when his first words were, “I want Taco Bell.”

“I didn’t even know that he liked Taco Bell,” Schwartz, 42, told InsideEdition.com. “Turns out, that was the only thing he wanted.”

Because he had feeding tubes in his throat, and had not swallowed in months, doctors and nurses were hesitant to give him water, let alone tacos.

He must have absorbed quite a blow to the head!

Could be like this Aussie who woke up speaking Mandarin. progressoid May 2016 #8
That's amazing. I love how he had channeled his mandarin to host a show. How fun! AgadorSparticus May 2016 #12
That might have been what put him into a coma. hobbit709 May 2016 #9

Perhaps his consciousness was temporarily temporally displaced, 16 years in the future.

When he returned to 2016, he was a little confused, and hungry, and didn't realize that Taco Bell wasn't his only option.

NURSE: Doctor, how's her coma?

DOCTOR: Oh, exactly the same.

DOCTOR: Wait a minute, she's coming out of the coma.

DOCTOR: Mrs Allbright, can you hear me? Are you okay?

ALLBRIGHT: (bright and cheerful) I feel so rested and refreshed. Get
me a toothbrush!

Surgery on his hand, had not eaten in 24 hours. We left the surgery clinic, Taco Bell appeared and he said that was exactly what he wanted. I went through the drive thru, bought him his whateverthehellitwas and he ate it as I drove. I had a towel strategically placed in case his body responded negatively. He usually refuses to eat junk. As far as I know he has not eaten any since. Drugs. Whatcha gonna do?
