(2,300 posts)I'm wonderful because I'm fighting breast cancer (Stage 1) with chemo and surgery to come.
Chemo is pretty much as un-fun as you hear: my digestion is totally messed up, I have about five days of utter fatigue each cycle (there will be six, and I'm at the halfway mark), and worst of all for this foodie, almost everything tastes terrible.
Yet I have maintained my sense of humor, and savor the final week of the cycle when I feel pretty good! I think I'm doing really well, and deserve a teeny tiny medal.

A very close friend has leukemia, and has had to do the chemo thing every few years. I've been with her - I've seen how hard it is.
Hang in there - and consider yourself awarded THE biggest medal ever!
