1. Thanks for these photos. One of my favorite US cities.

But then I have kids living there. Don't get out much anymore being on the east coast and absolutely HATING air travel.

2. I live east of Seattle about 150 miles.

We raised our daughter on many, many trips there, and the city was part of what drew me here from back east 45 years ago. We've gone for birthdays, at Christmas, performances, festivals, museums, and passing through to OlyPen.

Has it really gotten "as bad" with shootings and homelessness as many say? In your opinion. I know the interstate highways have become overriden with litter in recent years.

3. I go back in September

There was some issues around underpasses and such when these pics were taken, but it wasn't like it has been made out to be. It was similar to what has been seen in many major cities. This isn't the forum for it, but it is probably a combo of drug abuse, mental illness, some down on luck, and a small percentage of people who it may be a lifestyle choice for.
