Antebellum and Post War Family Cemetery

Truly off the beaten path. Road is no longer well maintained by the county. The cemetery is still looked after to an extent. The preponderance of small tombstones for children under 2 years old versus adults is a testament to just how hard life was in the early 19th century for young children.

Nice shots. The one with the headstone that's becoming covered in lichen i especially like.
