Fairfield County Rock Quarry

The 10 Acre Blue Granite Rock was originally part of a land grant by King George III in the Backcountry of the Carolina colony. Later was part of holdings of the Kincaid-Anderson family. The quarry opened in 1898 and ceased operations completely in 1986.
