Gun sought after PVPD chief leaves service weapon in library restroom

Prescott Valley Police Chief Bryan Jarrell lost his service weapon, apparently leaving it in a public restroom over the Veterans Day holiday weekend, before he realized it was missing and reported it.

Jarrell said he had been in uniform at a Prescott Valley Town Council meeting on Thursday, Nov. 9.

“I went into the public restroom at the library (where the meeting was held) to change clothes, because I was going to a basketball game, and I was in a hurry, and there is no excuse, I left it,” he said.

He said that, because he doesn’t normally carry his gun while off-duty, and the following day was a holiday, he didn’t realize he’d left it in the restroom until Monday, by which time it was gone.

1. The police have a habit of providing arguments against disarming the populace.

No question that a bunch of white guys have a habit of providing arguments for gun control, but the things police do with guns just make you want to bang your head against a wall.

church no less...gets to keep the Gun. Lots of harm, no foul? No charges?? Only with the holy Gun.

300 million+ tools of death. What could go wrong? Except everything.

Buy them all back. Say average of $500 a pop equals 150 billion dollars. About a tenth of what the rich are going to get in tax breaks.

Fuck that. Eliminate the guns, save lives and gunshot injury, save billions a year in medical costs, not to mention the grief caused.

Australia did it. Second amendment says nothing about a buy back.

If the buy back isn’t mandatory, you won’t have much participation

NRA hates that part so much they removed it from their HQ granite carved inscription! The truth the TRUTH and nothing but the truth...removing part of the truth means you have lost the argument.

Instead of Ranting about banning guns held by citizens, there are things that could be done to keep guns out of the hands of people who should not have them. Your ranting merely produces resistance to progress.

Gun control is a culture war. You insist on punishing innocent gun owners, who you conflate with bad guys with guns. Name calling and assumed cultural superiority are not getting you anywhere. You want to force your opinion on people. All these are barriers to progress.
