he chose to have such a terrible example of unchallenged personal impulse. There has to be way to disarm these nice guys who break serious law in almost whimsical but seadly manner.

At some point public safety has to trump whatever vague guaranty of even simple possession of certain types of automatic/semi auto matics that use "military" round. A full metal jacketed .223 round is a military round whether one drinks and shoots hunderts of 'em every weekend, wooooo.

When my dad and I had them, we each had one, it really turned into a fairly useless weapon unless one hung with drunks in Sears camo shooting away a couple of hundred dollars worth of ammo.

Back in the day we used to .38 plasitc shells fired by primer only. I know we used it in a .357, a .38 and I think a Taurus 9mm.

Had a lot of fun on the cheap and no alcohol.

Why does one own one?
