OLYMPIA, Wash. - Two Joint Base Lewis-McChord soldiers are behind bars Tuesday, accused of robbing and kidnapping a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint.
The incident unfolded Sunday at about 12:45 a.m. when Olympia police pulled over a car that was heading the wrong direction on State Avenue NE near the area of the Hands On Childrens Museum.
Three men were in the car, and as officers investigated they could see that one man in the back seat was wearing a Dominoes pizza shirt and his hands were bound together with zip ties, according to court documents.
The two other men, later identified as JBLM soldiers, were removed from the car and detained as suspects.
