When the returning officer in Sunderland announced the "Leave" landslide there

she looked as though she was either about to burst into tears or vomit.

(watching the ITV coverage on CSPAN.)

1. Taken together, the Newcastle and Sunderland votes look very good for Leave

Newcastle was practically a tie; Sunderland was about 59% Leave.

Fuck.

2. I hope the Metropolitan Police put out plenty of cops

to protect Muslim and East European immigrant areas. If Leave wins, a lot of the crazies are going to take that as a mandate to go mediand in the case of what they'd do to the Muslims, that should read "go Crusader"on those neighborhoods.

3. No, I can't see that happening

I really haven't seen the feeling being expressed as incipient violence.

19. And also the minority aren't...

Britain is a very multi-cultural country and the biggest factors about Brexit aren't immigration and certainly not xenophobia and/or racism.

There just aren't going to be mobs of people wrecking muslim neighborhoods.

13. More bollocks.

Which is why the racist lager-swilling morons swept to victory. ...oh wait....they didn't....

I have no clue what you think you're going to achieve with your UKIP support on this site pal, but I suggest you find a better use of your time...

At a guess, you're not from these parts, are you?

If so, that would explain a lot ...

21. Pound sliding against other currencies.

I doubt if Farage or Johnson have thought of anything other than their own personal status after Britain leaves. And neither have any of the dills who voted for leaving on emotional grounds instead of studying the issue.

If people voted to leave based on sound reasoning, it would be fine, but not because of appeals to racism and a nostalgic longing for the past.
