Computer help needed

I have trend mirco for my virsus software, have had it for a while.

Since last night, some webpages have had trouble loading or are very slow to load. While some work as normal.

Youtube's front page takes ages to comeup. Videos do work.

On other sites like Dailymotion/Veoh videos dont play at all. Have never had this problem in the past.

I noticed my trendmicro is now part of the toolbar in firefox, (that hadnt happen before) so I just took it off the toolbar, but the problem still exists.

Ran my updated virus check, and no problem there.

I have three browsers, since last night Safari doesnt work at all.

Im using firefox will this.

The problem with pages and video not loading, are with firefox and google chrome.

Any ideas what it is? do I have to update shockflash or adobe or something?

Been using it since letting my Trend expire. It has a nice browser add-on auditor.

Have you noticed any signs of other new toolbars on Firefox? Are you on a PC or a Mac?

My daughter had a similar problem in IE after something called (IIRC) BrowserSafe appeared in her IE title bar.

I won't go into details here if you have no sign of that, but I'd be happy to if that's relevant.

General thought though: I've never seen a third-party toolbar that was actually beneficial in any way. Get rid of anything unfamiliar via Control Panel (if PC--afraid I can't speak very well for Mac issues).

Open control panel-find system restore. pick a date before the trendmicro icon showedup on your toolbar.

With three browsers, there may be conflicts between what browser controls what function. Malwarebytes is a good suggestion by the other poster. They have a free version & the paid version is worth it.

Your 'trendmicro' probably downloaded something that reset what browser is your 'main browser.'

good luck!
