question about download server bandwith costs

Hi all,

Didn't know where else to put this, so here goes. I've heard for years how expensive bandwidth is. I play World of Warcraft sometimes, and their download server is extremely fast in my experience. A few minutes ago they were downloading the game files to me at 4.9 MB a second. Yes, that is no typo. My connection is rated at 40 mbps download. Of course, the dl speed jumps around a lot and is more like 4 MB a second usually.

These kind of servers and bandwidth must cost Blizzard a fortune. Any ballpark estimates on how much a month this runs them ? I'm guessing it must cost many thousands of dollars a month to run this. Only curious. Thanks in advance.
