Clinton campaign reported to be saying

MSNBC correspondent said that in answer to questions about them spending on future primary races like California:

"Their focus now is on the general election, but they are not ruling that out"

I have changed my mind, I think giving Sanders some empty victories might be a fine idea at this point. Seems they are going to watch and make any investments they need to but not more.

2. CA I think would be a good investment, by NJ was already covered by the Philly and NYC markets.

Additional spending in either area would be redundant, IMO.

I'm just over the line into Pennsylvania and got to listen to both the New York and Pennsylvania/Delaware Sanders ads.

Please, don't make me avoid every New Jersey station on the air for a solid week.

9. We don't have stations in NJ. Below Trenton gets everything from Philly, and above gets from NYC.

And our public access networks aren't drawing enough viewers to make them a valid investment for advertising a political campaign.

I'm on autopilot now, though, because I already mailed in my NJ primary ballot. I'm keeping an ear out for any NJ events by Clinton, since I'd love to go to one.

11. His ads in Washington State were incessant, and often ran back to back.

I ended up changing the channel too.

I saw one Hillary ad, but I'm pretty sure it was for a different state when I was watching a game on one of my sports packages. The ad seemed detailed and thoughtful.

Sanders is why we can't have nice things. You can't give him empty victories because he will show up at the convention and try to make a stink because of it. He's going to use each empty victory to bash Clinton because he is that petty.

another donation today. That's on top of my monthly donation. The thought of a Trump Presidency is ridiculous. It was bad enough having Arnold as our Gov in CA.

That they know the voters of California will be smart enough to look towards the general election and give Hillary the victory she needs to start a race against Trump on the right foot. Well everyone knows how much Sanders has brought to this campaign, and how liberals appreciate his ideas, a vote for him at this time would not be in the best interest of our progressive movement.

...for the primaries can be rolled over and used in the general election.

So they're probably going to spend what they can't roll over and keep what they can for the general election.

the donation limits are reset. You can donate $2400 (or is it 2700 ?) to a candidate for the primary and do it again for the general.

she needs to show she can beat Bernie and not let him have a free ride. Besides investing in some of these primary races can help with the general election, too. Keep the focus on Trump.

and not much is going to change it. They probably are predicting that the best he can do is prevent a huge drop off of support. In other words, he is not going to go up in any significant way in any race.

She will pick up the needed delegates without trying, and how can Bernie argue that he should be the nominee when he is fighting a woman who is no longer fighting back?

I think the narrative should be that Dems have their nominee and are focused on the GE, where Trump is already in full campaign mode. People in the Party need to repeat over and over again that they are no longer interested in fighting with Sen. Sanders who cannot win and no matter what he pulls it is too little, too late. He is a spoiler at this point.
