2. We are out at my sister's place in New Jersey

They usually grill their food for the coming week on Sundays. So, we get to choose from the following from their outside grill:

Marinated asparagus
Bell pepper pieces
Cauliflower
Shrimp
Smoked duck
Marinated salmon filets
Smoked scallops

I dont know what portion of the Chinese army they are expecting to feed after we leave, but I cant imagine its under 10%.

6. I got an Insta-Pot for my birthday....

I am a true blue from scratch, low and slow kind of home chef...so, this is a leap for me...

Baby-back ribs...made my own dry rub...rubbed them down and let come to room temperature.. Added liquid to pot...apple juice because the store only had a gallon size of apple cider....didn't need but 1 cu...added a splash of apple cider vinegar and liquid smoke.. Placed ribs into the pot for 25 minutes of pressure then under broiler after a quick BQ saucing That will be next....they are cooking now in the insta-pot...fingers crossed....

I have potato salad and baked beans for a side
