Meatball sammich with sliced red onion, lettuce, tomatoes. I think I'm going to use one of those German rye breads if I can find a loaf. They're kinda' crumbly, but they have hardly any carbs.
Kale salad with blueberries and toasted walnuts; also a few other vegetables, like shredded carrot.
Dessert will be carrot cake with the frosting scraped off.

Meatballs are an essential food, I've always thought.

(2,016 posts)Workers just finished up with the kitchen today. Paint is drying now. All is back to normal after the major leak and such. (And, I got a new toilet out of the deal! And new blinds for the sliding glass door! And new paint on the walls to match the new ceiling!)
OK, I think whatever I eat tonight, a well deserved glass of vino is in order. Cooking begins again tomorrow.
