Used to go NUTS over the squirrels who would run along the power lines.

And birds.

And pesky people walking down the street.

And kids coming home from school.

Oh. That guy on the bicycle.

Skateboards? Get outta here.

Bark bark bark.

We lost him in October. Miss him terribly.

Thanks for the memory and the smile.

I’m fortunate in that aspect. Unfortunately, my wife’s boy, a Russian grey, Steviewonder has finally taken to me since I started working from home. Lucky me. He wakes me up between 2-4am with kitty opera. “Oooooooh dad I need my belly rubbed! I really need my belly rubbed! Scratch behind my ears while I flop down against you! Did my flopping help you awake? Good! Scratch behind my ears!”

Little prick. I love/hate Steviewonder....

🤣

named Templeton. Looked like a cross between a Himalayan and a Siamese.

He took up half the bed sleeping cross ways between us. Then we figured out if we separated our pillows and put him between them, he stayed there all night.

We had him on phenol barbital and man, he was fucked up. Just wasted day after day (wish I was him). We switched over to Kepra and weened him off the phenol. After four days without, he started having seizures again. We put him back on the phenol and weened him down to a quarter pill. Seems to be holding. He’s definitely medicated, but he’s only slightly if you get my drift.....

Our old GSD Gigi had terrible grand mal ones. She was on the PB and it was awful. Glad to hear that it's stabilized.

He was temporarily blind. I felt so helpless....

But yeah, seems like the Kepra/Phenol cocktail is working out.

What would we do without our pets to alternately keep us sane and drive us crazy!
