I was holding him, walking out on the enclosed front porch. He looked out the window and IMMEDIATELY started to struggle to turn around and hid his head in my shoulder, very obviously scared.
Interesting. I'll try it with Morgan after I get back from the shops.

(26,177 posts)She recently went though a stage where she kept trying to get OUT of the house. I have a harness and leash so I'd take her for walks. No doubt she just wanted to escape the kittens. Previously, when I'd put the harness and leash on her, suddenly her legs would turn into cooked spaghetti.
Now she seems to have gone off the whole outdoor adventure thing.
And good morning from us to you!

(57,073 posts)One apartment I lived in had fiberglass screens, unbeknownst to me, & she walked right up to it, raked it with her razors & jumped out.
Then she just stood there, meowing.
Poor kitty. I think she was jealous of the dog always going outside & going for rides. Her little escape act cured her desire to go out. She looked terrified when she was outside alone.
So, now sometimes I take her outside just to look around & have a sniff of the outdoors.
She is no longer afraid, but quite content to stay inside. 👍
