Supergirl TV show on the way?

Supergirl could be the latest DC Comic character to appear on the small screen. Warner Bros. is reportedly in the early stages of developing a television show based on the heroine.

According to Deadline, Greg Berlanti, co-creator and executive producer of the CW series Arrow and its upcoming spin-off The Flash, is behind the project. Meanwhile, Ali Adler, who previously worked on Berlanti’s ABC superhero dramedy No Ordinary Family, is on board to pen the script. DC’s Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns is also expected to have a hand in the project in some capacity. Johns already executive produces both Arrow and The Flash.
