Hillary Has a Hit List - Keeping track of her friends, and enemies - Are You on the List??![]() Inside a cramped third-floor office of Hillary Clinton’s once-bustling presidential campaign headquarters in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington, Va., Kris Balderston and Adrienne Elrod put the finishing touches on a political hit list. It was late June 2008, and Hillary had dropped her bid for the presidency earlier that month. The war room, where her brain trust had devolved into profanity-laced shouting matches, was empty. The data crunchers were gone. The political director had drifted out. A handful of Hillary’s aides had already hooked up with Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign in Chicago.
more: http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2014/01/hillary-clinton-hit-list-102067 This is scary to think they have been keeping files on people for 30 years. I wonder how many of us are on her enemies lists? ![]()

2. We little people are not important enough to be on the list.
However, it might explain why she got so many premature endorsements from politicians this time. Richard Nixon had an enemies list, too. The similarities are becoming more and more apparent.

4. This is not what we need in the presidency of our nation.
She is seriously unsuitable for the job. I think we, as Democrats, need to face this fact now rather than later.

15. Alan Grayson and Tulsi Gabbard stand out for courage.
I hope to God their careers won't shrivel up and die.

11. Well...now we understand about those Committed "Super Delegates."
![]() The comment in the article about how Bill & Hillary felt that John Lewis (SC Activist with MLK) betrayed them in '08 maybe explains why Lewis made that mis-statement about how he "Never Met Bernie Sanders when he worked with Dr. King," that got so much backlash. Lewis had learned his lesson from his first go around with the Clintons. |

12. Ya. It's cool for politicians to keep lists, that's just being organized.
Lists of voters, lists of supporters. But the idea of using it for retribution is somewhat scary.

14. "Most Clinton aides can still rattle off the names of traitors..."
On one early draft of the hit list, each Democratic member of Congress was assigned a numerical grade from one to seven, with the most helpful to Hillary earning ones and the most treacherous drawing sevens. The set of sevens included Sens. John Kerry, Jay Rockefeller, Bob Casey, and Patrick Leahy, as well as Reps. Chris Van Hollen, Baron Hill, and Rob Andrews.
Yet even seven didn’t seem strong enough to quantify the betrayal of some onetime allies. When the Clintons sat in judgment, Claire McCaskill got the seat closest to the fire. http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/195188-hillarys-hit-list But, as we all know, Claire was properly chastened and made amends. She's okay now. I don't think most of us nonentities have anything to worry about unless Hillary makes it to the Oval Office, and even then it would probably be very subtle at our level -- maybe just a tad more difficulty in advancing to a consequential career, somewhat greater likelihood of disadvantageous court decisions or having our income tax returns audited -- that sort of thing. Pretty much inconsequential for us nobodies. |

21. Kind of explains Elizabeth Warren's refusal to endorse anyone.
Declining to endorse Hillary is probably as close to the line as she's willing to go.
Endorsing Bernie would put her on the (s)hit list for sure. She doesn't need the Repubs and the Clintons gunning for her. |
