Al Sharpton: Bill Clinton ‘Lecturing’ Black Lives Matter Protesters Was ‘Inappropriate’

MSNBC host and civil rights leader Al Sharpton criticized former president Bill Clinton‘s handling of Black Lives Matter protesters Thursday, saying that Clinton’s combative and argumentative tone was inappropriate.

“Bernie Sanders says Bill Clinton owes an apology…” MSNBC’s Steve Kornacki noted. “Do you agree with that?”

Civil rights leader and MSNBC host Rev Al Sharpton said there’s “no difference” between Democratic presidential rivals Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton when it comes to their impact on the black community in the 1990’s.

Speaking to MSNBC’s Steve Kornacki, Mr Sharpton... clarified that he saw no distinction between the Clintons and Mr Sanders’ when it came to the 1994 bill.

Staying neutral is a statement in an of itself. It says I'm not on board for the railroading.

I can't knock his comment. He has been consistent in his position on the crime bill.

I'm pretty sure that's what the poster had in mind but was too rushed to say.
