3 reasons

1) I wasn't the guy who said it.
2) In the context of our corrupt political environment, I have no problem with the term.
3) I support Bernie, but he doesn't set my standards.

If she's so proud of currying favor with corporations and being paid on a hush-money scale for it, then she should wear the term for it proudly too.

It isn't as if by rejecting that plain-spoken clear term, people suddenly forget what she is and does. It doesn't make the slightest bit of difference. This pseudo-fuss is only a way to deflect the issue of her conduct away from her and onto those who are objecting to it.

That really doesn't fly, most people are sharp enough to see that for what it is: yet another dishonest gaslighting maneuver.
