Why 'Basta Hillary!' Protestors Say Hillary Has Blood On Her HandsAccording to the group, while Clinton may be wooing the immigrant vote and have increasing support among immigrant groups, she actually has “blood on her hands” and is responsible for forcing immigrants into low paid jobs while destabilizing their Latin American homelands.
Here is how they explain Clinton’s actions in Honduras and other Latin American nations: Hillary Clinton supports violent military coups in Latin America and, specifically, is responsible for the coup in Honduras that ousted Zelaya and the recent assassination of the beloved Berta Caceres. On April 10, the group attempted to protest Bill Clinton’s stumping for Hillary in Corona, Queens. According to the members, they were removed by the police immediately. http://latest.com/2016/04/why-basta-hillary-protesters-say-clinton-has-blood-on-her-hands/ More at link

It also seems to have one source and the same cadre of nutjobs promoting it.

Hillary has blood on her hands because you weren't confronted with the fact that she does not and did everything she could to mediate the dispute.

She is not responsible for the decisions of Obama as to drones. And I'd like a list of who she "snuffed out."

22. I will be putting you on ignore
just for being absolutely annoying, but first. How long had Qaddafi been in power? Fucking decades. The bombed him in the 80s. Is his country better off now?
Hell no. Regime change, for what purpose? Why Libya? Hell, there is a whole subcontinent that has the blood of thousand free flowing and yet we do fuck all. No we are really only interested in the Middle East and parts of North Africa. Why? Because the most monied people/corporations in the world make money off Oil and the transporting of that. Where is Honduras? Close to another canal. She fronts for the corporations. She doesn't care about the environment. Her saving grace is that she seems to care about women, but does she really? She has hurt more women around the world than most people with her jobs and votes. |

And if being confronted with the facts makes you want to put an commenter on ignore, you will never learn or understand and I feel sorry for you.

just because a few American corporations were whining about Zeyala raising the minimum wage doesn't mean Hillary would support a coup.

9. I knew the story was crap. here's the truth:
"The President of Honduras serves a 4-year term and is constitutionally prohibited from re-election. When Zelaya reached the last year of his term, he decided to tinker with the Honduran Constitution. There was reason to believe he intended to remain in office indefinitely.
The US Government Accountability Office compiled a timeline of events that led to the coup: In October2008, Zelaya proposed postponing the presidential primary elections scheduled for November 16, 2008. (The general election was scheduled to be held a year later in November 2009.) In January 2009, Zelaya tried to change the composition of the Honduran Supreme Court. Both proposals were strongly opposed by the Honduran National Congress. In March 2009, Zelaya proposed a referendum asking Hondurans whether to call a constituent assembly for a new Constitution. In May 2009, after the Honduran courts ruled against the referendum, Zelaya ordered the military to provide the necessary logistics and support to carry it out anyway. In June 2009, the Honduran Supreme Court ordered the military to desist from supporting the referendum as it would have been unconstitutional. The top military leaders also refused to carry out the logistical support Zelaya ordered and they resigned with the Defense Minister. Zelaya defied the National Congress, the military, and the Supreme Court and decided to go ahead with the referendum. In the early morning hours of June 28, he was roused from his bed and flown to Costa Rica while he was still in his PJs. The Constitution doesn't have provisions for impeachment. The National Congress simply elected its Speaker, a member of Zelaya's party, to lead the de facto government until the election in November." http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/10/25/1438997/-It-Takes-Fortitude-and-Hillary-Clinton-Has-It-The-Honduras-Edition |

24. That is what his opponents alleged he was going to try to
with measures that were probably constitutional in themselves but would have violated the constitution had he used them for that purpose. Since he was unconstitutionally overthrown, we can't know whether he would have done that or not.
