2016 Postmortem

This is a slam I have heard from Trump people and Sanders people. Losing really fucks with people's heads I guess.

The "Tallibern" OP was rightly hidden.
Please do it again with this "Hillarian" OP.
JURY RESULTS
A randomly-selected Jury of DU members completed their review of this alert at Sun Jun 5, 2016, 01:57 PM, and voted 2-5 to LEAVE IT ALONE.
Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: I guess that it's a leave. On GDP name calling is acceptable as long as it's not racist or sexist or discriminatory. This primary has proven that trolls can post RW memes, personal attacks are common, and jury stalking is a past time. DU needs new rules. I only come here occasionally any more (been here 10 years) and I will stay away or in a protected group as long as it's a free for all. Leave it...or change the rules for everyone.
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Complaining about a post that has already been hidden used to/should be a violation.
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Thank you.

(46,179 posts)never would, and nobody I've spoken to hear, in real life, or elsewhere in cyberspace has used it.
I did read it quoted in a single article, authenticity not verified, and posted repeatedly here.
Edited to add:
Name calling is certainly not proscribed at DU, though. Some supporters of both primary candidates do so, and I've been reading DUers calling Republicans names for 13.5 years.
Either it's okay or it's not.

(13,685 posts)I figure maybe the OP made it up and thought it would be cool to post here, cause disruption and be rude, and get away with it?

(46,179 posts)the concerted effort to paint Sanders' supporters in the worst possible light.
None of the shit they throw has to be true; they just need some of it to stick.

(7,986 posts)in response to a thread about "Hitlery." Insulting, demeaning to the actual victims of fascism, and totally out of place on a Democratic discussion board.
The alert succeeded, glad to say, seven to nothing.

(36,649 posts)They kill themselves a little every time they let a RW lie build their hatred.
We despair when we see people voting against their own best interests, who respond to the hatred & fear generated by Republicans. In that respect the BoBs aren't any better than the "Reagan Democrats" supporting Trump.
