(18,731 posts)3 had (c) somewhere down in the email thread, but those have since been determined that the (c) was added erroneously. Literally zero emails were classified or had classified information at the time.

(126 posts)I don't understand why the State Department is now conducting an internal review. I sat through the entire hearing today and what I took away from it was that Comey did a thorough and impartial investigation, and stands by his findings. What happens with an "internal review"? What is its purpose? Good grief, what is going to take to get these people to move on?
Clinton needs to be able to focus on her campaign. Geeze, what's it gonna take? This is making me angry! Be gentle. I've been a long time lurker here, but am new to posting.

(108,925 posts)the .gov system wasn't even set up to automatically save emails. So in 2013 they only preserved 61K emails -- out of a billion (.0006%).
And most of the "sensitive" emails on Hillary's server came from other state employees, using the .gov system. Reports are that there are lots of sensitive emails on the server, across State and in other departments.
I think an internal review, if the info is released, will show that Hillary didn't do anything out of the ordinary. The only thing different she did was to use a server that actually preserved her emails -- as she was supposed to do. If she'd used the .gov system, State would have had very little to provide in response to the FOIA request.
That makes sense.

(11,155 posts)stupid not criminally stupid!
Stupid = Leaving a parked cars window open in a rain storm.
Criminally Stupid = Trying to rob a bar without making sure it isn't a cop bar.
I hope she and her staff learned from the situation.
