Does Donald Trump Realize That He Is Being Systematically Destroyed By The Main Stream Media &....

the press?

These are the very same that systematically built him up and they are now taking him apart.

There's no doubt that he is contributing to his destruction - but I question if he realizes what's happening to him and his brand.

As we know - he seems to live in his own reality surrounded by toady's and sycophants.

Truly the emperor has no clothes.

I doubt it.

There's no question he's a "bad guy" (to steal the phrase he uses for global dictators and despots). But I think there's a big part of his core that says "yeah - but he's our bad guy".

For a big part of his base, Donald is right - he could shoot someone out on Fifth Ave and it wouldn't hurt his numbers.

There are, however, five words he could say that would ensure his demise..."I believe Black Lives Matter". Hear that sucking sound? That's the sound of Trump's racist core rushing for the doors hoping to God they still have time to draft David Duke into some kind of write in candidacy.

So, unfortunately, I don't think Donald Trump is being systematically destroyed right now. I do believe his candidacy is being dismantled and his odds of getting close the the Oval are diminishing with every hour.

That said - I think we're going to fighting this disease for a long time. We fought it a long time and made progress. Donald (as well as the Republican party of the past 8 years) has given a voice to the oppressive.

He's their guy and the unfortunate reality is that the combination of his narcissism and the intensity of his followers leads me to believe he ain't going anywhere soon. If fact, and it sickens me to consider this, it's possible that when this is over...he's the second most powerful voice in the country. There's nothing about his personality that says he's going to slink away gracefully and there's nothing about his followers that say their suddenly going to embrace the growing diversity of the country.

Ailes will use his media connections to plant a big story about Hillary to get Donald's media problems out of the News cycle.
Hillary's campaign must keep pouring fuel into the Donald Trump's fire. Clinton has to maintain control of the narrative. When Trump pulled even in the polls recently, Clinton's campaign was asleep. Trump hired Roger Ailes and with that action, the Hillary Clinton campaign was caught flat footed.
