Here we go...Dan Senor is on MJ, He and Joe are peddling talking points on invading Syria.

It's comical the way Dan is trying talking points, he is obviously giving McCain, Lieberman and Graham (and the general GOP) their daily angle.

Pathetic.

they ALWAYS are somehow brought out to be the "experts" every time there is a country that is vulnerable to US intervention.

Alex Wagner, who normally is an absolute pitbull in weeding out republican nonsense, had one of these neocon twits on yesterday and let him go on about how the US needs to take action in Syria.

One of his points was that in taking out Assad it would keep the Israelis from trying to push an attack on Iran.

Made no sense at all, but THAT was one of the big reasons this twit thought the US had to intervene militarily in Syria.

and yet every time an issue of foreign policy comes up, there they are ... making predictions that never come true.

And I saw that guy on Alex Wagner's show ... I've got the sense recently that MSNBC is trying to real her in. She does a great job of smacking the crap out of right wing talking points, but lately the guests that they give her are usually 2 crazies right wingers, and then 2 useless democrats (like Ed Rendell) who agree with at least half the nonsense the right wingers spew, muting Alex's rebuttals.

like he was as governor.

He can be pretty tough in some situations, but he is a politician first and foremost, and he picks and chooses his battles.

He is a media guy now, so he absolutely lets a lot go.

This moron had countless reasons why the US should intervene in Syria, but I about threw something when he started on this nonsense that it would keep Israel at bay.

Cause, going into Syria is going to somehow magically make Iran's nuclear program disappear?

WTF!

I did not understand that "panel."

Some Politico guy or something like that and the neocon, and the supposed straight media guy posits, "gee, did the Obama administration mess up by saying Syria was not like Libya?"

told the truth about the Bush Administration/PNAC Middle Eastern Domino Theory (i.e. invade Iraq then Syria then wash, rinse, repeat) was dismissed by the media as a loon in the 2004 primary.

I like him a lot ...

NEVER ending stream of chickenhawk neocons are put up as EXPERTS on this stuff, and you got people like him who are marginalized.

The Repubs-led by Graham and McCain (and other GOPers) will be out denouncing him for doing it.

that those who advocate for war or while in office voted for that war, then they themselves and their children if old enough would be in the very first wave of any invasion.
said another way, when W decided to invade Iraq, then Barbara and Jenna should have been outfitted and sent to the front line.
if you truly believe war is the only course, then you must have some skin in the game.

If war is that necessary then it should be a no brainer that you should be willing to sacrifice your family.
