In the future are we going to say Michelle Obama was responsible for TTP? Seems Hillary is to blame
for Welfare reform and DOMA. Why isn't Hillary given credit for the balanced budget and all the jobs created during Bill Clinton's administration and the great economy passed on to GWB?
Holding the First Lady responsible for her husband's administration is disingenuous at best. But if you do hold her responsible give her credit for the good things too.

1. Clinton has publicly stated her support for welfare reform and DOMA.
Heck, "It Takes a Village" talks about how great welfare reform is via discussing "the dignity of work" at length.
Clinton isn't "responsible", in that she did not pass the policies. She is responsible for her own statements and book supporting those policies. If Michelle Obama writes a book about how great the TPP is, then she's responsible for saying how great the TPP is. |

3. If she publicly endorses those programs, and later runs for office, do we ignore her actual words?
Nice strawman you have there.

9. If you have evidence of my "disingenuousness" then let's see it.
Put up or shut up.

6. Let them keep connecting her to one of the most popular politicians in history.
Hillary is going to do it as well. The connection will pay off huge for her. It was universally understood Gore wasn't making a good decision by disassociating. It would be even more foolish in todays climate.
I'll say it. Hey Americans, you get Bill and Hillary!!!!!! This connection is extremely positive with the American people overall, excluding the rabid right. I love it. |

7. I look at her record of what she actually had some authority as Senator to legislate...
Which is just OK. But it irked me when she said she was part of the conversations on DOMA. She made herself sound like she had authority.
