This quote, attributed to Marilyn French, is making the rounds online.

It's similar to Brownmiller's and I can't find a citation for it, is anyone familiar with it? I'm wondering if it's an actual quote.

"As long as some men use force to subjugate females, all men need not. The knowledge that some men do suffices to threaten all women."
