Are Grits Groceries?

Damn straight.

I am a Southern lefty in the banana split republic of SC. It has a lot of good hidden by the fruits and nuts on top.

I am also a cranky witch who I am sure a lot of people would lie to hear less from. It's hard enough to keep in step. Don't ask me to stay in line.

If you are new here, hang in. You will be enlightened in many ways both good and bad. Don't take any one post or even several as a barometer of what all really believe. There is an incredible diversity of opinion here which is a remarkably good thing.

Damnbetcha grits are groceries!

Always loved your handle -- I heard that expression many, many times growing up.

I've always wondered if your nick was in relation to that song.
