Some gunthusiasts on DU seem to think meta-discussions in GCRA are forbidden. They aren't.

In the GD SOP, and the GD: P SOP, it says disruptive meta-discussions are forbidden there. There is no such mention in the GCRA SOP. If you want to have a discussion here about how people talk (or are talking) about guns on DU (or elsewhere), or even have a discussion about discussions about how people talk about guns, gun safety, gun proliferation, gun violence, gun control, etc. this is the place to do it.

Also, for those gunthusiasts out there that are already blocked from this Group, consider yourself blocked from sending SOP alerts, too. Your user name shows when you send an SOP alert. Those will be automatically ignored by me, though you might get lucky with a different host, but probably not. This Group is not for you, and your input is not welcome.

If you get where I'm coming from and agree with me too, a couple recs on this thread would be appreciated, to help our resident gunthusiasts get the message

One of them sent an SOP alert on this very thread for being meta. Talk about irony impaired. Electric Monk May 2016 #7

"safe" zones. If someone wanders in and alerts on a post, it will go to a jury, and as far as I know they will be a jury of all-DU'ers, not just group members. I only know this from one of my other groups.
