What Strikes Me About Bernie's Campaign Is The The Air Of Confidence That Bernie's Camp Exudes.....

This confidence is contagious and it is pulling in a lot of new support for him. On the other hand there is an air of desperation surrounding the Clinton camp. It seems like they are putting out a lot of crap in a last ditch effort to hang on to her 'presumptiveness'. The problem with that is that it just reinforces their desperation and further puts doubt in the mind of The People.

Now, perhaps that's an abundance of caution given what happened in 08, but yes- they seem nervous.

That periscope feed of the Sanders organizational meeting in Kentucky. A huge percentage of people had never been to a political meeting and had never donated to a candidate before in their life. Never. And yet almost the entire packed room had at this point donated to Sanders.

It's electric.

And unlike any campaign I've ever seen in my life.

...when a man of courage and integrity steps forward and leads.

Now we know how Democrats felt about JFK/RFK and about FDR.

I recall RFK the best. For me, Bernie is reminiscent of him.

and I was one of the first banned from the Hillary group, but I am feeling more and more nervous about tomorrow. Even with the excellent reports of a good ground game, even with the large crowds who turn out for Bernie while Hillary is off speaking to small groups of high money donors, even with Nate Silver hedging his bets in Iowa, even with all that, I'm still anxious.

I'm mean enough that I hope Bernie does astonishingly well tomorrow, far better than anyone's most optimistic pipe dream, and I'm mean enough that while I'll try to refrain from gloating, there are certain specific posters I want to see eat crow.

And a better person in general.

Thank you for reminding me of a much more positive way to think about all this.
