SAVE OUR PENSIONS RALLY

U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders is reintroducing Keep Our Pension Promises Act on Tuesday. The bill will protect the pensions of millions of workers including 18,000 Minnesota Teamsters who face massive pension cuts that could slash their pensions by 50 per cent or more.

On hand will be three Minnesota Congressmen: Keith Ellison, Rick Nolan and Tim Walz; and Attorney General Lori Swanson will speak at the rally plus representatives of Sens. Amy Klobuchar, Al Franken, and Rep. Betty McCollum; Minnesota AFL-CIO Secretary Treasurer Julie Blaha; Erin Parrish, Assistant Director, Minnesota AARP; Minnesota Pension Rights organizer Steve Baribeau
