Negotiated a 2.2 billion dollar trade deal with Taiwan for our corn and soy. Certainly good negotiating skills there
Legalized marijuana.. with planned release of tens of thousands in jail for possession, and will offer them counseling to re-enter civilian life with work training
Passed legislation that history will teach LGBTQ accomplishments
Strengthened laws protecting a womans right to choose
Working on infrastructure
He pays his campaign staff that has stayed with him over and above what the state salary offered them. Stated he wanted the best, wanted them to work hard, be happy in their jobs so they would stay.

(6,010 posts)is opposed to a wealth tax and wants to bullshit us all into thinking it doesnt poll well with the electorate. Bloomberg will also have to answer for Stop and Frisk.
While I like some of the things Bloomberg has done and stands for, he does not repreEnt this party. He and Pritzker are two different people, despite both being very wealthy. Im pleasantly shocked at how good Pritzker is so far as Illinois Governor. Perhaps he should run for President someday.

Yes, on a lot of the social issues Bloomberg is great. But, he contributed a lot to increasing inequity.
I am voting for Governor Pritker if he runs again. I have no desire to vote for Bloomberg in the primary.
I was really expecting Pritzker to be like Bloomberg. I am so glad he isn't.
