538: Who won the debate?

Short answer is: Amy, Bernie, and Pete won, Biden and Yang lost.
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/democratic-debate-first-february-poll/

Also interesting to note that, among the NH voters polled:
Bernie came into the debate with the highest favorability numbers in the field, and increased his lead in that.
Before the debate, voters rated Biden as most likely to defeat Trump, and after the debate, that switched to Bernie.

primary today, I would vote for:

It’s so subjective. They probably all got funds from it, all good.

6. The fire seemed forced and desperate. He trips over his words nearly every time he speaks.

The media finally got the message on stuttering! thank GOD

for small favors.. My sweet hubby used to stutter severely and has overcome it over the years, but it still will show up from time to time.. Last night I forgot who put up the link for Joe calling for everyone to stand up and support Vindman .. Well he did the triple stutter getting it out for them to standup, and I think for once, the media did not question if he was having a gaff.. I was really pleased with that watching the after shows..

I don't think Buttigieg had a great night but he wasn't bad. The marijuana arrest rate question presented his worst moment. For Sanders, his worst moment was on guns, but he actually handled it pretty well.

Yang spoke so little that it was easy to forget he was there. His comments about prosecuting Trump were unwise.

Klobuchar did fairly well, but she needed to win Iowa. Instead, she came in 5th. I don't see a path for her.

He's also not presidential.

I think he's getting a lot of good ideas into the public consciousness and that's probably his objective.
