NC and SC have different electorates. Another thing to consider is how much primary choices are influenced by preceding primaries.

Likely voters Registered Voters
Bernie Sanders 20 25
Joseph R. Biden 24 19
Michael R. Bloomberg 16 13
Elizabeth Warren 11 12
Pete Buttigieg 8 6
Andrew Yang 3 4
Tom Steyer 4 3
Amy Klobuchar 3 3
Tulsi Gabbard 2 1
Cory Booker 0 1
Deval Patrick 0 1
Julian Castro 0 0
John K. Delaney 0 0
No Preference 8 12

Hard to read, but it's Biden 24%, Bernie 20% and Bloomberg 16% among likely voters. I wonder why there's such a large variance?

Think they are changing their minds when push comes to shove. He's run an incredibly weak campaign and to me isn't as sharp as he used to be.
