A number of DU’ers were unhappy, but not about the medical devices discussion reposted here.

I didn't really read through any of this, but why delete a thread and post some of the replies in a new OP?

The comments about missing the medical devices discussion came today.

Look, I am doing the best I can. The criticism of the OP came from people I respect. I reread though their comments and took it down.

I'm very sorry that my post in another thread about being frustrated by trying to link to that subthread, and finding out the links I'd copied into an early draft of a message then didn't work, meant not only extra work for you reposting those replies, but extra time answering questions about doing the extra work.

As a deleted OP, I could read it but that was it.

The medical devices tax is sui generis. It’s a sales tax but completely hidden from the purchaser. Interesting stuff
