OMG! It just occurred to me that Moscow Mitch could...

Hook up his big voting machine manufacturer donors with his big Russian donors - and voila! - rig the election without even having to hack into it from the outside!

His close business associate/donor (and honorary GOP member) - Oleg Deripaska could provide the voting machine manufacturers with a few english speaking Russian tech workers who could build the desired "hack bug" right into the software of 80% of the voting machines in America!

Moscow Mitch could guarantee Trump and GOP victories forevermore!

After ONE debate, we shouldn't be ignoring all but 4 candidates...

Who initially lead largely because of name recognition, or because they entered earlier.

We're about a year and a half away from the election - and at this same point neither Bill Clinton nor Barack Obama were the frontrunners.

We have two dozen that would be 100 million times better than Donald Trump.

We should be trying to get to know all of them better - not just make an initial, media bolstered, snap judgement.

Nobody here seems to be paying attention to Michael Bennet

But I think he's potentially a very strong candidate.

He's likable, thoughtful, very knowledgeable, compassionate, sincere, and commands respect.

I think he carries himself like a leader.

I actually see him as a cross between Barak Obama and Mr. Smith (Goes To Washington) - there's a Jimmy Stewart-esque authenticity to him - partly due to his similarly halting speech pattern.

He entered late because of his prostrate cancer - but it's VERY early.

PROBABLE CAUSE is the standard for federal indictment - NOT "beyond a reasonable doubt" !!

So why did Mueller act like he had to have a "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard to bring a case or accuse of a crime?

How do prosecutors obtain federal indictments?

By law, a federal indictment can only be brought (or in technical terms “returned”) by a grand jury, which is a body of 16 to 23 citizens chosen from the community. The grand jury hears evidence and testimony from witnesses presented by the prosecution. It has the power to ask questions, and subpoena witnesses and documents on its own. Once the grand jury hears the evidence, it votes to indict or to not indict, based on whether there is “probable cause” to believe the defendant is guilty.

Impeachment is for UNACCEPTABLE WRONGDOING by a President - NOT limited to technical crimes.

It's up to Congress to fully expose the wrongdoing - with impeachment investigations, proceedings - perhaps an impeachment trial...

And ultimately up to the public as to whether these fully exposed wrongdoings are deemed acceptable.


Presidential abuses of power are not usually crimes technically - but are considered "high crimes and misdemeanors" as referred to in the Impeachment Clause.

We never needed Mueller to find crimes - (though he obviously feels he found them as far as obstruction of justice).

Nothing Nixon did unto itself would constitute a specific technical crime.

Trump and his campaign knew the Russians had hacked the DNC, Hillary, Podesta and were interfering in our election, but publicly said they weren't - vouching and covering for them when in office, and repeatedly covering for them as a candidate.
