Tony Stark was a billionaire

And he was the key to defeating Thanos. Just saying.

Bernie's campaign is in serious trouble.

--Apologies. I posted this earlier in the wrong forum.--

Bernie's entire campaign and governing strategy is to build huge sweeping movements that puts pressure on elected officials to support his agenda. In order to do this, he needs massive turnouts at the polls, and in the streets, to apply that pressure.

Regardless of the hijinks in Iowa, overall turnout was down. Bernie's Iowa support in 2020 was below his support in 2016. Now, a previously, little known politician from a small city in Indiana is in a vitrual tie with Bernie in New Hampshire which should be Bernie's home state.

If Bernie loses Tuesday, his campaign is effectively over. It will be proof that his movement strategy is a failure.

If he cannot defeat Pete Buttigieg in New Hampshire, how can be beat Trump?'

--On EDIT--

Let me add this. I get that Bernie has a solid base of support. I get that he may be doing marginally better than his rivals. With that said, his entire campaign strategy is not built on marginal support. It's built on creating a movement. He's said as much himself. So far, there's no movement.

What substantive step(s) could Mike Bloomberg do to win your vote in the Dem primaries?

Donate money to help disenfranchised voters?

Select an African American woman as his VP?

What could he do to make you vote for an oligarch?

Is there a word or phrase for people who defend a system where they benefit even though said system

is immoral, unjust, and/or failing?

And people know that said system is immoral, unjust, and/or failing.

Bloomberg and Steyer should just buy out Trump

Pay Trump double what Putin is paying him in exchange for his resignation.

Is what happened last night in Iowa reflective of how the national Democratic party...

does not put enough people and resources into the state and local levels? A national party should have strong state chairpeople, esp. in a critical state like Iowa. I live in deep blue NY state, and I have no idea of who my state Dem chair is.

Maybe too much is being invested in campaign consultants and not enough in building out the party on a national level.

Someone has been dipping into the inventory.

I'm not going to say who it was. I'm just going to ask that they come forward.

Cancer is not a punishment. Both good and bad people get it.

Showing empathy for Rush Limbaugh is showing empathy for every person, and their family, that has had to face that disease.

The economy has been unchanged since Obama's presidency

See the US GDP chart at the link:

https://www.statista.com/statistics/188165/annual-gdp-growth-of-the-united-states-since-1990/

The very same economy in 2016 that the media kept lamenting left everyone behind. The "forgotten man in middle America, completely left out". The economy only serves those "coastal elites sipping lattes in Starbucks while writing screenplays on their laptops". The real American (read, White, Christian, male) has been left behind by the global economy.

Flash forward to today with a US economy that has not materially improved at all, and it's "Trump is unbeatable because of the great economy that he has". We're booming.

Truth is the economy last year did slightly worse than it did 5 years ago.

Our current economy is mostly due to the Fed keeping rates low. Trump's tax cut added to the deficit without any ancillary benefits to the economy as a whole. For example, if we added to the deficit to improve infrastructure, we'd have more jobs AND better roads which would then increase more economic activity.

I honestly believe that the people who work in our media are either extremely lazy or stupid or a combination of the two.
