Dear Congressional Democrats, Please make the Republicans own their agenda.

**Re-posting to the correct forum

Whatever they want to do to Medicare, Medicaid, the ACA, Social Security, the environment, finance regulations, taxes, you name it, do not co-sign their bullshit. Do not try to mitigate the damage by getting some small concession passed. For example, please do not vote for a gigantic tax cut for the rich in return for a meager hike in the min. wage to $9,00 which will be phased in over 15 years all in an effort to claim some bullshit compromise or bi-partisanship.

The Republican agenda is a disaster for every non-super wealthy American, and even if one Democrat supports any piece of it, these ass clowns will claim that their agenda was bi-partisan. That both Dems and Republicans voted for a gigantic tax cut for the rich.

Resist their agenda at every fucking term because if you don't, I will stop donating money to the DNC entirely. I will instead contribute money to any primary opponent running against any Dem incumbent.

Appeasement is losing strategy.

Why the markets have jumped since the election

The markets have seen sharp increases because Republican economic policies inevitably lead to rampant market speculation. When rich people get tax cuts, they don't use their tax cuts to open a factory in Muncie, Indiana and hand out jobs that pay American middle class wages and benefits.

No, they give their tax cuts to hedge fund managers and tell them to double it in a year, and then double that next year. That makes these hedge funds guys take on more and more risks. And thanks to Trump's de-regulation plans, the big investment banks will also chase these returns and take on these risks. In a low interests rates/low taxes/de-regulated environment, the doors have been flung wide open to the casino known as massive speculation.

Of course this will all come crashing down in a few years and everything will have to re-set, but for right now, the party is on.

Bernie Sanders could not, and will not be able to, get racist White Americans to stop voting against

their best economic interests. They will wholly reject his agenda for the very simple reason that Black and Latino people would get the same benefit. American racism is the true opposition to a progressive agenda.

Until Bernie, Thom Hartmann, Lawrence Frank, Michael Moore, etc. can get the White working class to get over their racism, then there will be little to no progress in America.

Finally, NO, Barack Obama's two victories DOES NOT disprove my point. Obama lost the White vote by 20 points to Mitt Romney in 2012. He made up for it by turnout. Please do not use Obama's elections as some sort of proof that Whites don't vote out of racial bias.

HOLD. THEM. ACCOUNTABLE. EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM. HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE.

Every Republican, no matter who, has to be held accountable for every damn thing that Trump either says or does. Unless and until they rebuke him entirely and do so publicly, they have must OWN every act and every utterance by Trump. They own him and everything that he brings and stands for. Full stop.

CNN: Obamacare 2017 enrollment hits record, despite Trump's threat to repeal

Even before the election, there were concerns that customers would be deterred by price hikes -- the average premium for the benchmark silver plan soared 22% for 2017 -- and the fact that some insurers pulled out of the exchanges.

However, administration officials sought to portray Obamacare as strong and crucial. Even if Trump and Republican lawmakers repeal the health reform law, they are likely to keep it in place for at least two to three years while they formulate an alternative.

--On Edit--

Democrats put into place a policy that actually helps Americans WITHOUT any Republican support. So, fuck the media meme that Dems don't care about the working class in America.

What does Putin want in return for helping Trump win the presidency?

Putin is a gangster. Probably the most successful gangster in history. When a gangster does you a favor, he/she wants something in return. So, what does Putin want in return?

I stopped watching "Morning Joe".

I'm tired of being enraged on my way to work in the mornings.

Holy crap! I was at that very location in Berlin, Germany back in September!!!

It was an outdoor exhibition center when I was there, and it was very popular. I walked around there several times during my stay there.

During my trip, I took a cab, and the driver was very nervous that Trump may win the election. I re-assured him that Hillary was going to win. That all seems like a life time ago.
