Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) suggests that Doug Jones (D-AL) change his party affiliation to the GOP.

On 'Morning Joe' today, Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) - chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee - suggested that Alabama Senator-elect Doug Jones (D-AL) affiliate himself with the "true representative party of Alabama," the GOP.

I suggest that Senator Richard Shelby (R-AL), the senior US Senator from Alabama, re-affiliate himself with the party that got him into national office in the first place (1978): the Democratic Party.

Cory, put that in your crack pipe and smoke it.
