Trump and Kavanaugh are F. Scott Fitzgerald's profligate Gatsby. We are Meany, the smallish Everyman of John Irving's imagination. Or, at least, I am.

"Tequila Saloon" (To brighten your day)

Shot through a 113 year-old wavy-glass window that was removed from my South Carolina house. I carry the window in the back of my truck, when I drive out west, for shots like this. To me, this shot is evocative of an old desert town whiskey saloon.
