Could Trump be legally subpoenaed to testify at his own impeachment?

Or would it be politically incorrect?

Would he take the 5th? If he did, would that mean he never gave himself a pardon?

The possibilities are endless.

I have a solution for most of America's problems.

Lock him up !

Nothing will ever be fixed so long as he is involved in politics in any way. He is toxic for our country and for our citizens.

If the US Senate cannot find the courage or the backbone to do what needs to be done, then the Justice Department should find a way.

He needs to be locked up.

And if people get angry and want to storm our Capitol because their cult leader has been put away, then lock them up also.

That will solve a lot of our problems.

A hit dog is the one that yelps the loudest.

Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham, Josh Hawley, and Rand Paul have been doing some loud yelping.

Is it because they are guilty as sin for what happened in our Capitol?

Do all of the 45 Republican Senators feel the same guilt?

Do they feel any responsibility?

Do they realize that they look like little puppets on a string, being controlled from Mar-a-Lago in Florida? Do they dare to miss the next phone call from Mr Trump?

Do they patiently wait for his next orders?

That is what it looks like from the other side of the dog pound.

The self-deception is absolutely amazing!

They live and breathe lies. They brush aside any facts that might stand between them and their self-deception. As far as we know, there is no cure.

Democrats cannot save America. Republicans cannot save America. Only Americans can save America.

Once we realize that this fight is bigger than any political Party, we can defeat the fascist Trumpsters, posing as Republicans.

America saw what happened on January 6th. Now, the leaders of the Trump Party want everyone to believe that there is nothing anybody can do, because it is "unconstitutional". The criminal is no longer in office. Forget that anything ever happened. Close your eyes and pretend you are floating on a cloud of cotton with lilac fragrance all around you.

But the country is in danger and there is no time for games, especially dangerous games that the Trumpsters are playing. It is time for America to wake up.

You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

If you cannot save yourself, no one can save the country.

The danger is not that Trump will run again in 2024.

It is that he will continue to corrupt the political system with his lies and propaganda if left unattended.

By 2024, it will not matter if he runs or not, the system will have been too corrupted to recover from the damage. Both Parties will be irrelevant. Republicans will not only be irrelevant, they will be discredited.

But it will not matter.

This is the crossroads for America. We might live or die by our actions in the next few weeks. To stand behind and defend a lie is deadly for the soul of our nation.

Since impeachment is a political process...?

Can you imagine any political ads that might run against Republicans that do not vote to convict?

Betrayal, storming our Capitol, murdering policemen, destroying property, threatening the lives of elected representatives, aiding and abetting the terrorists. They should be ready to defend their votes.

If the Republicans choose to defend these horrendous criminal and anti-American acts, then they should have to pay a price.
