The Trump cult cannot believe that Joe Biden got 12 million more votes than anyone in history.

And 7 million more than Donald Trump.

After all, Donald Trump got about 10 million more than any Republican in history and 5 million more than any Democrat had ever gotten. How could he lose if the Democrats did not cheat? It is hard for them to believe that Biden got the number of votes that he got. They refuse to believe any evidence.

Without the huge threat that voters felt from Donald Trump, and the new ways for people to vote, Donald Trump may well have won the last election. Donald Trump was so feared by the general population that an army came out to vote against him.

But they were legal votes. It was one of the most observed and accurate elections in history, according to the experts and the Secretarys of State in all the states where the votes were questioned by Trump.

How could that be, they ask? Trump had huge crowds at his rallies and Biden had very few? It never seemed to occur to them that we were in the midst of a worldwide pandemic and many Americans looked at them as passionate members of a cult but reckless and thoughtless about their fellow Americans. It did not prove what they thought it proved.

It was a surprise that so many people voted, especially for the sociopath. But the people spoke.

And the cult did not like what they said.

It is very troubling to hear reporters attack Joe Biden...

...after what we went thru for four years under the former guy.

Their criticism seems to be hollow. How soon they forget.

Now, they are in the process of portraying Trump as the odds-on favorite to be the Republican nominee in 2024. They are still attempting to normalize the sociopath five years later.

At the same time, they seem to forget the insurrection that he incited to overthrow our government and keep himself in power.

How does anyone "normalize" that?

The "Big Lie" was the "Big Steal".

They were lying for a reason.

Their plan was to overthrow the election and install Donald Trump back into the White House. The "Big Lie" was the vehicle that would permit it to happen.

We have learned a lot since the "Big Lie" was first discovered. I'm not sure that it now fits the injustice that was done to our country? It was much more than just a "Big Lie".

The "Big Lie" led to the "Stop the Steal". All the time, the conspiracy was taking place to steal the election from Joe Biden.

In reality, it was more of a "Big Steal" than the "Big Lie".

Is the Committee getting ready to send a criminal referral to the DOJ...?

...on Mark Meadows?

Rachel just had a small clip on Liz Cheney and showed comments that she made last night and comments she made today. She read directly from the Big Blue Book, the US Legal Code.

My impression was that the Committee needed that information from Mr Meadows in order to ascertain if Donald Trump was in violation of that statute?

Are we living in a potentially worse time than the pre-Civil War era?

The only thing we seem to learn from history is that we learn nothing from history.

The potential for violence is just as great, or maybe moreso, than before the Civil War.

The January 6th insurrection may have done more damage to our country in the long run than the attack upon Fort Sumter in 1861.

Just as in 1860, there is a "great cause" for people to rally behind, even though it is based on a "Big Lie". Just as in the days of Hitler, people are likely to believe a lie, the bigger the lie.

The racism and the division are still with us.

It seems the hatred and the potential for violence increases with each passing day.

Lincoln could not save us from ourselves in 1861. Is there anyone that can save us now from the lies and deceit that lead to ruin?

Is MAGA an "anti-Christian" movement?

They seem to stand for everything the Bible speaks against.

They are anti-peace, anti-morality, anti-intellectualism, anti-truth, anti-compassion, etc.

They cling to their guns and preach violence. They threaten to kill their neighbors who might disagree with them. They believe lies, without evidence, that do harm to everyone else. They practice paganism by disavowing knowledge and science, as people die from a worldwide pandemic. They have little compassion for their fellow man.

This "anti-Christian" movement is not what it preaches. It is not on the side of God, as spoken of in the Bible. They are the complete opposite.

One reason Sinema and Manchin vote the way they do?

They understand that if they piss off the right wingers in their states, they also lose many Democratic voters in the process. The political processes in both states are ran and controlled by the Republican Party. They would both lose their next election.

In my opinion, that is the reality they are dealing with. They cannot sell the Democratic position on the filibuster or voting rights at this time.

They could show political courage and give up their political careers but they are not the only Democrats that are in that position. They just happen to be out front to take the brunt of the criticism.

That's the way I see it.

Is the Biden team looking too much at the polls?

Are the low poll numbers creating a panic within the circle of advisers?

In my opinion, they should not devote so much time to responding to the polls. They have a message for America and should not allow themselves to be painted by the Republicans and the media.

He did not inherit a rose garden. He has been doing all that anyone could ask under the circumstances. To his credit, he was able to get millions and millions of Americans to volunteer for the vaccine. It is not his fault that so many chose to not take it. (That could be laid at the disinformation and misinformation from the other side).

He has got the economy back on track, notwithstanding the high inflation rate. The breakdown of the supply chain and the pent-up demand from the lockdowns is more to blame for that than Joe Biden. Most folks understand that, even though the President gets the blame or credit for the economy. It is a two-edged sword.

Also, he was able to get passed an infrastructure bill that the former guy only talked about for four years. That is an achievement.

Most importantly, he is trying to save democracy in America. It was left in shambles after the insurrection and four years of Donald Trump.

In my opinion, these are the facts his inner circle should be concerned with, rather than poll numbers.
