The fact of the matter is that Trump should never have been elected President, not then and not now

In 2016, he was paying off Stormy Daniels to keep her quiet. He could not afford for the story to become public. It was an automatic disqualifier.

We now understand better why he refused to turn over his tax reports in 2016. He had business loans with a business in North Korea, probably the worst dictatorship on Earth. We can see now why he was all lovey-dovey with Kim Jong Un. They "fell in love".

He had shady business dealings all around the world. But he refused to make them public. His lies and character assassinations put him in the White House.

The truth of the matter is that he was never qualified to serve as President. It was probably the biggest political mistake this country has ever made.

Did Sinema make her decision to drop her Democratic affiliation before the last election?

If Warnock had lost the GA race, then the Senate would have been tied at 50/50 with VP as tie-breaking vote, in favor of Democrats.

However, if Warnock had lost and Sinema then left the Democratic Party, she probably would have announced that she was caucusing with the Republicans and would have made Mitch McConnell the Majority Leader.

The Warnock race was historical in that respect. She can still leave the Party but she cannot put the Republicans in charge of the Senate.

I tend to believe that she had made her decision to leave the Party before the last election was decided.

It appears the DOJ has hit a brickwall in regards to retreiving more missing documents?

What are their options?

No doubt, they wanted to get control of all the documents before they pursued the case to its conclusion. However, a Federal judge shot down their request to hold the "Trump team" in
contempt. Also, no one on the Trump team will sign an affidavit declaring that there are no more documents. No one wants to take "custody".

It seems that the DOJ is left with little choice but to take the evidence on hand, which is over-whelming, to the Grand Jury. He should be indicted and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Obstruction of justice, theft and retention of classified government documents, perhaps even espionage.

And that is only the beginning. There will likely be charges for incitement, aiding and abetting an insurrection, obstruction of an official government proceeding, and seditious conspiracy, in regards to the January 6th attack upon our Capitol.

It appears the Trump team has decided there will be no cooperation with the Special Counsel or the DOJ. The Special Counsel is now left with few options, in my unqualified opinion.

The Trump cult is unusally quiet during all these Trump proclamations?

The DOJ has probably noticed.

None of them have been marching in the streets for their homeboy. None of them are threatening the overthrow of the government. None of them are showing their willingness to put their asses on the line for their Leader, the "twice-impeached, disgraced, ex-president".

I have heard no one come forward to declare their willingness to give up their life for Donald Trump.

How should we interpret that?

Is Donald Trump standing much more alone than he realizes?

Who is really surprised by Kyrsten Sinema?

Who would be surprised if Joe Manchin switched Parties?

And why is it that no Republicans seem to ever switch Parties? One might think that under the present political conditions, some Republicans would be looking for another option?

In a nation as divided as ours, fifty-one votes will never be a guaranteed majority.

First, they came for the lawyers...

The DOJ has been terribly concerned about the missing documents. Since Trump's lawyers found a couple more classified documents in a storage compartment in Florida, they are even more concerned.

They requested a written statement from the Trump team, under penalty of perjury, that there were no more documents. The problem is that neither Trump nor any of his team of lawyers will sign such a statement. His own lawyers do not trust him.

The Special Counsel and the DOJ are left with little choice but to charge the entire Trump team, including Trump, with contempt. This may initiate a daily fine on Mr Trump until the DOJ receives the sworn statement from them?

This creates a dilemma for Mr Trump that he has never seen before. He has always been able to hide behind his lawyers and slick legal maneuvers to stay away from criminal charges and to stay out of jail.

But this demand by the Special Counsel takes away that shield. If he loses his lawyers, he is defenseless against all charges.

Something sounds very shady with the newly-discovered "classified" documents?

What's going on?

Is the thief and fraudster trying to extort the new Special Counsel, Jack Smith?

People will ask, "If they only found two more "classified" documents, then there must be more?"

Yes, there are more. Or do they want you to think there are more??

Or is it only a couple of bread crumbs to get the DOJ off track?

Or is there a more innocent view of the matter?

It's a puzzle to me.

Why Republicans thought Herschel Walker was a "sure-bet" to win the Senate seat in GA?

Much of Georgia is rural and very Republican. They may primarily support Trump? They are primarily white.

Republican leaders feel very much in control of the white Republicans in Georgia.

In my opinion, Republican leaders thought that if they ran a black candidate against Raphael Warnock, especially a popular athlete like Herschel Walker, that it would divide the black vote enough to defeat Senator Warnock. But it didn't work.

The voters of Georgia are very savvy, in many ways.

"All I need is 11,780...........votes."
