The GA Special Grand Jury were unanimous..

...in their belief that there was no significant election fraud in the GA election.

That would have included the jury "foreperson" that has been all over the news.

She also spoke of her high regard for Rudy Guiliani. She thought it was "cool" to shake his hand.

Rudy would not have been the only "election denier" that was subpoenaed by the Special GJ. Mike Flynn and Mark Meadows would have been a couple of others.

Since the GJ voted unanimously that there was no fraud, they obviously did not believe what Rudy and Flynn and others might have said about the election being stolen from Donald Trump.

In my opinion, this was important information to glean from the latest bombshells from the Jury Foreperson.

After all was said and done, the evidence was not on the side of Rudy or Flynn or Trump or any of the "election deniers".

Republicans, like DeSantis, are dangerously naive about Russian intentions.

Putin's goal is to re-establish the old Soviet Union.

During the Obama Administration, Putin took over power in the old satellite country of Georgia. His troops waged war in the eastern provinces of Ukraine, the Donbas region, and has now declared them part of Russian territory. It opened up the path for him to take over the Crimean peninsula.

A year ago, he sent 200,000 troops into Ukraine, by attacking the capitol of Kyiv. He hoped to create millions of refugees and to take over the country in quick order. He used Belarus as the attack point for the invasion of Ukraine. Belarus was doing the bidding of Putin.

Ron DeSantis and the Republicans are out of touch with reality if they believe Putin and Russia are not a threat to world order.

They will not stop with the conquest of Ukraine.

Trump's phone call to FOX execs on January 6th?

It would be interesting to know what time he called? Was it after he tweeted about Pence? Was it after the insurrectionists had left the Capitol? And did they really refuse to take his call?

It has been reported that he called FOX on January 6th and that they refused to take his call. It has not been reported what time he called or who refused to take his call?

It seems like something that Jack Smith might want to know?

Are lies, propaganda, and misinformation protected by the First Amendment?

Did "Hanoi Hannah" and "Tokyo Rose" have the right to come on American media and spout their disinformation?

If they had worked for FOX News, would it have been OK?

There are some that argue that "free speech" is almost absolute. The only place they draw the line is with defamation and pornography. Is that really the only limits to "free speech"?

We are familiar with the Supreme Court ruling about the KKK having the right to march and protest in Skokie, Illinois. But how do we distinguish between the "right to march and protest" and the act of inciting revolt and insurrection? Is that also protected speech?

Does "free speech" take precedent over the right of the people to be safe and secure in their homes?

What lines should be drawn with free speech and the First Amendment?

Should FOX News be permitted to continue the lies and misinformation that are so damaging and destructive to our country and society?

If a tree falls in the forest, and no one at FOX News hears it...?

Does it make a noise?

In most likely, the biggest scandal to ever hit the newspapers or news media of this country, FOX News has been discovered to have known about the Big Lie and kept spewing it to their viewers.

But now, they are silent about it. How many of their viewers will never know what happened?
They will continue to believe the Big Lie.

Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham will continue to feed bullshit to their viewers and listeners with no consequences.

Unless the facts and the truth about the election of 2020 is presented to everyone, we will continue to have a divided and hateful country.

FOX News Network should not only be sued for $1.6 Billion dollars...

...they should not be permitted to do business in this country.

Today's bombshell report of their role in the Big Lie, and giving oxygen to Donald Trump and the Republican Party's propaganda, clarifies their role in the crisis our nation is now confronting.

Their belief that American "media" was liberal-oriented and that the country needed a "fair and balanced" response to the corporate "liberals" in the news media, led them to create their network as a counter to the news that Americans were receiving.

They chose to be a propagandist arm of the Republican Party. Facts and truths were not a prerequisite to their reporting - only the advancement of the Republican agenda.

They have shown themselves to be a direct and constant threat to our democracy.

When Donald Trump ran as a Republican, they had no choice but to support him. In making that decision, they also chose to support all of his lies.

In doing so, it led to his election in 2016. It led to the anti-vaccine rebellion when we were in the midst of a world-wide pandemic. It led to the insurrection of January 6th, 2021. Their decision to push the lies and propaganda, when they knew it was lies and propaganda, severely damaged our constitutional right to a free press and for the people to be fairly and accurately informed of events going on around them.

Whether or not the Wall St Journal or NY Post or other holdings should be banned is open to debate, but FOX News Propaganda Network should cease to exist.

We should recognize there are three major Parties in this country: (D), (R), and (T)

And they should be designated as such.

We should designate Republicans such as Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, etc as (R).

We should designate nuts such as Marjorie Taylor Green, Jim Jordan, Boebert, and all that voted to not certify the election as (T).

For example, when writing about someone like Jim Jordan (T), the designation would identify them as a member of the "Traitor Party".

This could help educate the American voters, in my opinion.

Trump is seriously attempting to revise history.

I guess so long as his cult believes him, that is all that matters?

He released a long, formal, double-spaced post on his Truth Social page. He twisted and distorted every fact about what happened on January 6th.

He began by calling it a "witch hunt". He then gave a couple of examples of tweets that were supposed to show him as trying to stop the insurrection on that day. He wanted them to march "peacefully" to the Capitol. Also, he said he had requested 10,000-20,000 troops and National Guard to protect the Capitol that day. He thought 500 would have been sufficient.

But, he was busy on the phone and watching TV, he didn't have time to send anyone to help. After all, that was Nancy Pelosi's job.

Unfortunately for Mr Trump, the only people that have forgotten about what happened on January 6th are those that participated in it and the politicians that supported them.

His revisionism is not going to work.

As we have learned, everything we believe Trump is guilty of doing, is usually much worse.

Everything we believe about Trump and his Russian connections is probably worse than we thought. (Boris Epshsteyn might be his direct connection to Putin)

We may never have thought that he would steal classified documents. (He may have sold them to the Saudis or the Russians)

His degree of evil and deceit is beyond the comprehension of most of us.

We have had eight years to study the sociopath and we should know that whatever we think about him, it is likely much, much worse.

Mike Pence is going to plead the "separation of powers" defense?

He is going to say that he was a member of the Legislative Branch and therefore cannot be subpoenaed by the Executive Branch because of the "speech and debate" clause? He is going to claim that as President of the Senate, he was in the same position as a Senator or a Congressman? The Vice-President has nothing to do with the Executive Branch?

Good luck with that, Senator Pence.

It sounds like desperation.
