Trump could never have won if his lies had not been promoted by FOX News.

January 6th would never have happened if FOX had been truthful.

But they were not. And they knew they were not.

It was about audience and numbers and money.

But why did McCarthy give access to only Tucker Carlson? Did they make a deal? Were they doing it for Trump? What did they have to gain?

As some have said, FOXNews is nothing more than a Super PAC for the Republican Party. They were all one and the same.

Now, the lie has been exposed.

Nonetheless, they chose to push the Big Lie on the American people.

Lest we forget, even after Obama showed his birth certificate, Trump declared that it was "fake". And most of his followers believed him. He saw first-hand how effective he could be with his lies and propaganda.

Obama's birth certificate was just the beginning of the lies. We have seen how far he has taken them. It was unfortunate that he never paid a price for his lies about the birth certificate.

With Trump at his weakest point politically, Republicans would be wise to cut him loose now.

If they cannot find a way to do that, they may find themselves burdened with the albatross once again in 2024?

Judging from the attendance at the annual CPAC convention, Trump is probably the weakest he has been since he came down the escalator in 2016. Many prominent Republicans did not show up for the CPAC celebration of insanity.

This is an existential moment for the Republican Party. It they continue to cling to Donald Trump and his policies, it will not help them in future elections.

But, it is not only the Republican Party that should take note of Trump's political weakness at this time. I'm sure it is not lost on the prosecutors that have been investigating his many crimes.

How divided is the Republican Party?

It seems to me they have reached the point they feared all along.

At one time, the CPAC convention was the premier event for "conservatives" all across America. Now, it has become nothing more than a small gathering for a cult leader.

Republican fears have become a reality. Their Party has been successfully divided between the Old Guard and the Ultra-MAGA Republicans. They are now two Parties.

This could be the beginning of the end of the Party that began about 170 years ago? It is difficult to see how they glue themselves back together?

They knew it was quicksand when they stepped in it, but they just couldn't help themselves.

When Trump says, "I am your retribution", he it telling his followers that he is the way for them to get revenge.

He is telling them they are innocent and were wrongly punished.

Does anyone doubt that the he would seek revenge if he was back in power?

They will continue to lie. Yesterday, they brought on KellyAnne Conway to let people know that they are being lied to. But, it is not FOX that is lying to them. It's the "fake news" and the leftists. No one can define an "alternate reality" like KellyAnne.

They have no plans on paying anyone anything.

They say they are the only network speaking for the "other side".

Democrats should continue to put pressure on Murdoch to get rid of the "liars" on his network, masquerading as news hosts.

Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Jeanine Pirro, Maria Bartiromo, and the other liars should not be permitted to continue their lying.

Their boss has told the truth on them and Democrats should not let them forget it.

In 2019, the FOX Corporation sold much of their holdings to Disney for $71 billion dollars. This enriched the Murdoch family immensely. They did not sell FOX News, FOX Sports, or local FOX stations.

It is reported that 61% of the Murdoch empire is owned by other stockholders? They could actually sue Murdoch and FOX News if it was to their benefit.

We can see the conspiracy of lies with Murdoch, Trump, and the Republicans, but who does Trump give his loyalty? Is Vladimir Putin still part of this conspiracy picture?
